Exmouth

Exmouth is a seaside town on the coast of East Devon and is perfect for a family weekend away or as a sightseeing trip, with or without children. Situated on the east bank of the mouth of the river Exe Estuary. Exmouth is best-known for its clean and sheltered beaches, shallow waters and secluded coves. There are plenty of beach activities to enjoy too; try the horse riding and the water sports, such as windsurfing, kite-surfing and sailing.
If you’re looking for somewhere to go on a family day out, besides the long, soft-sand beaches, there are plenty of places to explore.

 

  • Exmouth Museum offers a great opportunity to discover the vibrant history of Exmouth as a port town dating back as far as 498 – 518AD.

  • Sideshore is an award winning coastal eco-hub offering water sports hire and lessons by Edge, alongside local retail huts. Also, plenty of eateries to include Fabulous coffees by Hangtime and Michelin star chef Michael Caines restaurant Mickeys. This is a vibrant gathering place in the evenings and a perfect place to see the sunset over the sea in the summer.

  • The Pavilion is situation on the sea front offering indoor and outdoor spaces where you can see live music and brilliant shows , along side offering places to eat and drink.

  • The Crazy Golf course looks over the beach and for the more adventurous there is even a nearby paintballing facility.
